The Stone Store Lodge is close to the Inlet, allowing Richard to spend time with his sailing friends, and many of the visiting yachts to the Bay of Islands.

Richard has brought back many ideas to the Stone Store Lodge, from his sailing adventures in the South Pacific.

Richard is also a member of an organic garden group. Ten fellow gardeners of all natationalities meet and work in the gardens for 3hrs/week which entitles them to bring home as many fresh vegetables and fruit as they can eat.

Lucy, Richard's daughter is part of the team when she is not overseas. Lucy, a keen photographer has taken all the wonderful photos displayed in the lodge. If you have any questions, please contact us at
